Amazing Miss Grace Q and A’s Fascinating People

Today’s Fascinating Person is Kathy Scheiern
of
1. Please tell Amazing Miss Grace and her worldwide readership exactly what fascinating thing(s) you do.
Dear Amazing Miss Grace,
What a privilege to be able to share my interests with you. You are most kind! I have had many labels over the years, but what I find most fascinating is creating positive change in the world for myself and others. There are many ways to do this. My favorites are really listening to people and then sharing what I have learned that may be of assistance. Using specific processes like Systemic Constellation Work and Breakthrough Coaching to help people identify and resolve things that have been holding them back and preventing them from achieving their goals in life. And the one I like best — creating and facilitating transformational rituals for people – like customized marriage ceremonies, house blessings, coming of age and Elder ceremonies, healing relationships, resolving past hurts, reclaiming the Divine Feminine within us, life celebrations, memorials for loved ones, claiming our power / choice in the world, putting down our armor and opening to love… there are so many reasons to include ritual in our lives. Whatever the intention, positive transformational ritual can help it become real in people’s lives.

2. Of everything you do, what brings you the most joy?
I am most joyful when the work that I do helps someone move from sadness to joy, from pain to pleasure, from frustration to flow. When I see the light go on in someone’s eyes because they have reconnected to life, to love, to themselves and to others, that is the greatest joy I can possibly imagine. Everything I have learned and all that I practice is in service to this goal – to reduce the level of fear in the world and help restore the flow of unconditional love. To be seen and loved for all that we are in every aspect of our lives – without judgment and without guilt – this is joy that passes understanding and love that moves both heaven and earth with the power.

3. If you could rule the world for one day, what changes would you make?
One day is not a lot of time, but this is what I would like to get started if I could rule the world for one day.I would require all media to report what is positive about the world. I would take all the money away from war and weapons and spend it on education, good housing, clean water, and health care for everyone everywhere. I would require that we all focus on teaching our children what they can do rather than telling them what they cannot do. I would require that tolerance for differences be taught from the earliest possible age, and that individuals who have caused pain to others be shown love instead of continuing the cycle of pain and destruction. I would require that we treat all life everywhere as sacred including the planet itself. I would make the singular rule of law all across the world be the Golden Rule – and that we learn first how to love ourselves so that this love could then flow out to others.

4. If you were a cat, what type of cat would you be?
That is a hard question! There are so many different and fascinating kinds of cats in the world! Everything from jaguars and lions to hairless and tailless cats! But if I had to pick one, it would probably be a Maine Coon. I’d be big and fluffy and polydactyl!

5. What else would you like Amazing Miss Grace and her worldwide readership to know about your fascinating vocation?
I started my career as a C.P.A. but have subsequently traveled a long way from that beginning. I have trained with a shaman, journeyed on inner and outer planes outside of normal 3-D reality, and encountered beings and presences whose capacity for love and wisdom surpass anything I have ever experienced in real life.In the year 2000, when I was on a tour of sacred stone circles in Cornwall, England, we did a ritual in an ancient Celtic earth work called a fogou.
I entered into the earth work and asked the spirits of that place to show me my purpose in the world. The vision they gave me was of a woman giving birth to the world as an act of love, a great labor, to bring into the world a new way of being – one based on love for all that is.The world, the Universe is so much more than we know, than we have experienced, and than we can imagine. If living a life of love is a stretch, if practicing a life of tolerance is sometimes too much, then I hope we can all some day come to a place where we can at least have an open mind – about ourselves, each other, and what is possible. My own journey began with a desire to learn — about everything — and to keep an open mind in the process. Every day I strive to live more from a place of love and less from a place of fear. I believe that if we are going to survive on this planet, we need to heal ourselves and our world. And that healing cannot come from a place of fear. So everything I do when people come to me is designed to help each person take another step or two or three along their path to resolving and clearing what blocks them from achieving their heart’s greatest desire – to live, to love, to make a difference.Respectfully submitted for consideration to the Amazing Miss Grace and her loyal readership by Kathy Scheiern, who can be contacted atKathy@YourBigBreakthroughCoach.com with further information available at www.YourBigBreakthroughCoach.com

Amazing Miss Grace Updates You Big Time on the Local 39 and CPMC Strike

Amazing Miss Grace has learned the following from a highly credible source, an M.D. at one of the 4 CPMC Campuses:

  1. CPMC has no intention of settling with Local 39 and the strikers “can stay on the sidewalk for 52 weeks” before they seek negotiations, if ever.
  2. CPMC intends to do the same to Local 250 and the California Nurses Association (who has worked without a contract for over 5 years).

Local 39 is sadly the first horse out of the gate on the path to the proverbial glue factory.

San Francisco Supervisor Scott Weiner has been informed of this non-action by CPMC.

“Stunningly recalcitrant.”

Amazing Miss Grace Reprises the Brown Dog Story

Amazing Miss Grace

continues to be fascinated by the number of people all around the world who are fascinated by her Brown Dog Story posted on Christmas Day. Amazing Miss Grace isn’t sure wherein the fascination lies.

Is it the dog?

Is it the insensitive prick who refused to allow the dog to avail himself of the commode?

Or is it Mr. John Boehner?

Regardless, here you are, with a bonus. Happy Thursday!

Amazing Miss Grace Updates You on the Pet Lovers California License Plate

Amazing Miss Grace has just spoken to the DMV (in Sacramento) Special Plates Division. Their phone number is 916-657-8035.

The availability of this plate will end in June 2012 although no specific date has yet been decided. There are approximately 4000 orders and they need 7500 in order to start making the plates. If you buy one, but then the plate doesn’t get enough buyers to go to press, you WILL get your money back.

Amazing Miss Grace believes this is a good thing.

Amazing Miss Grace also welcomes Malawi to her collection of countries. Welcome, Malawi!!
